Email Notifications

CaptureIT can be configured to send emails when certain events occur. These events can be exceptions raised by employees, such as an employee arriving late, or working too many hours without a break.

Email Exceptions can be sent to separate addresses depending on the individual Cost Centre and to global addresses.

CaptureIT Supports both MAPI and SMTP email transports.

The CaptureIT Server will notify you as soon as the exceptions occur. Pending email notifications are sent by default once per minute, so you may receive a single email containing several exceptions. This is done so that you don’t receive hundreds of separate emails at busy times. You can specify how often the CaptureIT Server will send out pending emails by entering the number of minutes in the Send Pending Emails Every entry. The higher this value, the more exceptions will be included on a single email message, but you will receive the email longer after the event occurred

For instance, you can be notified in real-time via email when a job goes over budget. You will be told which operation has gone over budget and who was working on it at the time!
