The Export Wizard

CaptureIT comes complete with an easy to use tool for exporting data to other applications. The Export Wizard can export data in CSV or XML formats.

The Export Wizard allows you to create export templates from any of the CaptureIT database files. Once a template has been created you can export the data that you need just by selecting an existing template.

Note: Developers! You can also use the Developers Kit to get at the CaptureIT Database directly using the Database Connector DLL.

You can select fields from any CaptureIT table. When you select a table you can also select fields from it's related files. You can also include constant values in your export.

If you need to fine tune the export process, you can edit the automatically generated Basic Script. This gives you complete control over the export process.

You can also select the format of the CSV file and the order in which records will be exported.

Finally, you can choose the location to place the exported file. You can the Preview your records or proceed to export them.
