- Pay Categories
CaptureIT allows you to create up to 999 'Pay Categories'. Employees
can clock on to different pay categories during the day. You can then
analyse attended time by pay category for each employee or department over
any period of time.
You can also use pay categories to set up different payment schemes.
Each category can have its own pay rate or factor. If the category pay
rate is zero then the employee will continue to be paid at their default
rate.
Employees can also clock on to different pay categories whilst working
on a job. This allows you to analyse job costs by pay category (for
example, Machine Breakdown, Waiting time etc).

You can use pay categories to record time against any specific entity,
