CaptureIT - Clocking In From PC's

CaptureIT supports employee clockins from data collection terminals (time clocks). However in office environments or where employees have easy access to a PC, it may be more convenient for employees to clock in and out using a computer.

The Remote Clockin Utility is a Windows based program that allows any number of employees to clock in and out using a computer instead of a terminal. 

You can use just the Remote Clockin Utility for employee clockins if you wish, or a combination of terminals and remote clockins.

The Remote Clockin Utility uses TCP/IP to communicate with the CaptureIT Server. It does not require access to the database files. This means it uses very little network resources

Remote Clockin Features:

• Works on any TCP/IP Network - even over the Internet!
• All CaptureIT functions are available.
• Employees can receive and send messages.
• Use is shared or dedicated to one employee mode.
• Auto clock in/out when computer starts and shuts down.
• Current time set by server computer not workstation.
• Can run in your system tray.
• All lateness, overtime, payment script rules apply whether or not employee uses a terminal or the Remote Clockin utility.
