CaptureIT Manufacturer
The CaptureIT Manufacturer Edition is targeted at manufacturing
companies who need more than standard Job Costing. The Manufacturer
Edition adds support for piecework, quantity and batch claiming
at the terminal and work-in-progress monitoring.
This edition allows employees to claim a 'quantity' against a specific
job/operation. You can also enter an optional 'Standard Minute Value' (SMV)
against each operation allowing employees to be paid based on the quantity
they have done (piecework). You can view in real-time the quantity produced
against each operation. CaptureIT Manufacturer also allows you to set up 'sequence
checking' so that the quantity claimed at a certain operation cannot exceed
the quantity produced at the previous stage.
Using the additional data captured from the shop floor you are able
to get the following information:
By Employee/Cost Centre/Job/Pay Category
-
Performance (standard minutes claimed against actual
time).
-
Utilisation (percentage of time 'on-standard').
-
Efficiency (overall performance).
Batch Based Production Control
CaptureIT Manufacturer allows 'Batches' to be created
against jobs. Each batch can have its own quantity and reference. Employees can claim
individual batches at each stage of production. Employees can be paid based on the batch
quantity. You can view in real-time the position of each batch in the production cycle and
who claimed the batch at each stage.
You can view the following information about current work-in-progress:
-
The position of each batch in the production cycle.
-
Who claimed each batch at each stage, the date &
time of the claim and how long it took the employee.
-
A full audit trial of claims against each batch at
each operation.
-
Current work-in-progress quantities at each stage
plus quantities Thru.
-
Rejected and faulty quantities against each batch.

All Job Costing and Batch Tracker functions and information can be
integrated with other applications using the 'Jobs DLL', which is supplied
as part of the Developers Kit.
